The Office of the Director-General (ODG) of Health is responsible for Government and Ministerial services, Internal and External Communications, and provides support to the Director-General of Health, Ministers and the Executive Leadership Team. The office also supports the Chief Science Officer.

 

We're looking for an Assistant Advisor to provide high quality, timely, support and administrative advice to the Government and Executive Advisory team. You'll assist the team with a range of tasks including OIA logging and co-ordination and assisting with Estimate questions, OPQ's, and Ministerial Briefings. 

 

Key to your success in this role will be your previous administrative experience and keen interest in government and parliament processes, OIAs and Ministerial operations. You'll be known for providing timely and efficient administrative support to a busy team and an ability to seek out, research and present information to assist in the preparation of reports and recommendations.

 

In addition, you'll have a can-do attitude and be skilled at juggling multiple priorities!
