We're looking for a Commercial Manager to join us! This role focusses on developing and driving our Technology & Digital Services' (T&DS) procurement, outsourcing, and vendor/service provider strategies and related policies and practices - within the context of the Ministry's and MBIE's overall approach to procurement and vendor/service provider procurement and management.

This role will be responsible for ensuring an effective, planned and professionally managed strategic approach to the procurement and management of vendors/service providers by and within T&DS.  This includes a review of existing contracts, establishing and developing consistent contract management capabilities and processes and providing strategic vendor management and negotiation assistance to ensure T&DS is driving value from every dollar spent.


To be successful, you will be a savvy procurement professional with at least 5 years' experience.  You will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong ability to influence and formulate cross-functional relationships both within the organisation and external agencies.
