A strong primary health care system is central to improving the health of all New Zealanders and reducing health inequalities between different population groups. Our primary health care system needs to: support people to live well, stay well and get well; ensure people understand and are able to access the care they need; provide care closer to where people live and work and; keep people at the centre of decision-making.

If you are an enthusiastic, passionate person with a focus on improving health outcomes and have lots of energy, then read on as we would love to hear from you.

Due to an internal movements, we are seeking an Advisor to join the Primary Care team. This is an ideal opportunity for you if you are wanting to: share or advance your understanding of the primary care health system; contribute to service design and implementation; be part of a busy collaborative team; and make a strong contribution to a key health priority.

It would be an advantage if you:

  • are a skilled oral and written communicator;
  • engage well with internal and external stakeholders;
  • have relevant tertiary qualifications;
  • have skills in understanding and analysing data; and
