The Ministry of Health is the Government's principal advisor on health and disability policy.  Our job is to protect the health of New Zealanders and, through leadership of the health and disability system, we help New Zealanders to live well, stay well and get well.  We work with the health and disability sector to manage a programme of work that supports the Government's priorities.

Background

The Technology and Digital Services (T&DS) business unit is responsible for delivery of technology and digital services to the Ministry of Health and the health and disability sector. T&DS works closely with the sector to develop its technology and digital services, strategies and initiatives. It regularly engages with DHBs, PHOs, NGOs, clinicians, industry partners, colleges, consumers, the Treasury and other government agencies, to name a few.

This is an exciting time to join T&DS as we embark on a new way of working to deliver high quality services that ultimately impact on our ability as an organisation to deliver on the New Zealand Health Strategy.

We're on the hunt for a Sector Portfolio Manager to join our team!
