As either an existing Senior Project Manager, or as an experienced and successful Project Manager, you're probably looking for the opportunity to put the full depth and breadth of your skills and experience to use to help deliver business outcomes in a rapidly changing an challenging business environment. The Senior Project Manager provides project management capability across National Digital Services and over functional areas to ensure appropriate support is provided in the development of the Ministry's sector-facing systems. The role will work predominantly in the initial stages of project delivery including the establishment of a clear Vision & Scope.
We're looking for someone like you who can get involved in our varied change programme while also sharing responsibility to enhance and grow our delivery capability. You'll be working alongside the Service Managers to articulate the needs of stakeholders and you'll part of a team that also includes Business Analysts and Solution Architects.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Substantial depth and breadth of experience as a practicing Project Manager
- Demonstrated a significantly high level of knowledge and skill in all aspects related to the delivery of project management outcomes
- Evidence of leading a large portfolio of work
- Set standards that raised performance and led by example in the work that you do
- Excellent relationship management skills across a wide range of senior stakeholders
Your proven experience in the delivery of project management outcomes in a complex environment will underpin your success in this role.
