We're looking for an Advisor or an experienced Senior Advisor to join our dynamic Analytical Projects, Health and Disability Intelligence Group which sits within the wider Strategy and Policy tea here at the Ministry of Health.
The Strategy and Policy Business Unit is the lead Ministry business unit for developing and providing policy advice to Ministers and carrying out related policy functions in the Ministry's areas of responsibility. The Unit will work with, inform, and be informed by, the work of the Ministry's clinical, operations, purchasing, programme development, funding and administration of legislation functions to support the delivery of a more effective health and disability system.
Using a wide range of administrative and survey data our team monitors population health and the performance of the health and disability system. This includes a focus on improving access to health services as well as health outcomes for all New Zealanders.
