We are looking for a top-notch Senior Executive Assistant to join us to provide support to the Executive Director, Office of the Director-General (ODG).
The Office of the Director-General provides support to the Director-General of Health, Ministers and the Executive Leadership Team. As a business unit, it is responsible for internal and external communications and Government and Ministerial Services.
As a Senior Executive Assistant, you'll provide high quality advice and administrative support to the Executive Director, ODG to ensure they are well-represented and prepared at all times. This includes managing and keeping up with a busy diary with often conflicting priorities, email management including responding and/or delegating, meeting preparation, coordinating the Executive Leadership team's weekly meetings, liaising with staff at Minister's Offices, and supporting critical business functions for which the Executive Director is responsible.
In addition, this position will also provide backup EA support to the Director-General's Executive Assistant as required.
Critical to your success in this role will be your previous successful experience providing high level support to a Senior Leader, Board, and/or Group Manager. You'll be a trusted advisor and have excellent organisational skills with the ability to think strategically, use initiative, establish priorities and meet deadlines – all while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Your strong interpersonal and communication skills and your ability to manage relationships at all levels will see you easily navigate a large, complex organisation with ease. Your professionalism, organisational skills and drive to succeed will see you excel in this busy role.
