The Statistics & Reporting team is responsible for democatising health information by bringing key data statistics and insights to the people. The team produces four of the Ministry's Tier 1 Statistics and a number of other data releases that are of high interest to the Ministry, and its stakeholders.
We are looking for an Analyst / Author to support the team and assist in the production of publications, datasets and information releases from data held within the National Collections.
You will be responsible for the analysis and presentation of quantitative information that will suit a wide variety of audiences. You will apply best practice to your work and ensure the quality of the outputs and reports that you produce.
We are a small but dedicated team, with a passion for analysis. In an environment where access to quality health information is of ever-increasing interest, its essential information is able to flow freely to the sector.
To be successful you will need to have:
a graduate level qualification with a significant quantitative component
proven ability to research and analyse data and information to give accurate advice
highly developed oral and written communication skills
excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships
Well-developed planning, organising and priority setting skills.
