We are looking for a multi-skilled Principal Advisor to provide critical leadership and deliver advice that enhances the functions of Ministry of Health as part of the Office of the Director-General.
In this role, as Principal Advisor, you will be expected to provide advice and information to the Director-General on key projects, issues and risks. You will work across teams and groups to successfully manage projects or processes of major significance to the Ministry. You will also lead special projects for the Director-General as required. You will also maintain oversight of all advice and briefings that go to the Director-General, the Executive Leadership Team and Ministers, to ensure they are timely and of high quality.
To be successful in this role you will have the ability to provide professional, independent and objective advice. Ideally you will have in depth knowledge of the health sector and the wider machinery of government processes.
