We are looking for a talented individual to take up the role of Senior Advisor Sector Support. This is a critical role that will lead the development and refinement of internal controls, support the achievement of financial objectives across Sector Operations and provide advice on business processes.
Reporting to the Manager Sector Support, you'll be responsible for providing real time advice on how to strengthen internal controls, performing root cause analysis of current systems and processes, providing guidance on management of finances and performance monitoring across Sector Operations, supporting the eligibility determination process and supporting Sector Operations through significant change programmes.
You will drive efficiencies across the teams in the management of resources, monitor and resolve issues to ensure the smooth running of the business, identify changes to health sector policies impacting on Sector Operations activities and perform key responsibilities related to the risk and controls framework and other process improvement projects. In addition, you will actively lead or participate in assigned projects, anticipate issues and problem solve to ensure continuity of delivery and contribute to maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Ability to apply risk management principles to work
Ability to bring analysis and evaluation skills to work in Sector Operations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Analytical, logical and proactive approach to managing risks and resolving problems
Ability to prioritise challenging and changing workloads while preserving accuracy, validity and timeliness
Proactive approach to work demonstrating initiative and good judgement
Experience and knowledge of payment processing systems; confident in working with systems and technology
Demonstrated experience in people leadership, coaching and motivating teams to achieve results
Experience driving change processes and continuous improvement
A genuine commitment to providing quality service in an operational environment
Natural ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with variety of stakeholders
