The Medical Radiation Technologists Board is one of sixteen New Zealand health regulation authorities appointed by the Minister of Health under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 (the Act).
The Board is responsible for the administration of the Act in regard to the profession of medical imaging and radiation therapy.
On behalf of Hon Dr David Clark, Minister of Health, we are currently seeking applications/nominations for one appointment as a health practitioner member (Sonographer) on the Medical Radiation Technologists Board.
Please note that applicants for health practitioner member positions must hold a current registration as a Sonographer, and preferably be currently practicing.
Applicants from across New Zealand are welcome.
The following are required in your application:
completed declaration form for the relevant position (attached)
covering letter, detailing your experience that is relevant to the position and why the position is of interest to you
current curriculum vitae.
To nominate someone, please:
provide a covering letter, detailing your nomination, including the nominee's experience that is relevant to the position, and why the nominee would be suitable for the role
a declaration form (attached), completed by the candidate for the relevant position
the candidates current curriculum vitae.
Nominations/applications must be made using the Ministry's online Career centre and close Friday, 26 October 2018.
