We are looking for an exceptional leader to work with us as the Deputy Director-General, System Strategy and Policy. This role is part of a new Executive Leadership structure that has been established to deliver on the Government's priorities and the Ministry's leadership and stewardship functions.
The Deputy Director-General (DDG), System Strategy and Policy is responsible for the delivery of the Ministry's core policy function with a focus on system and strategic policy and cross-government initiatives. The DDG is also responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance on policy development and advice across the organisation, and working closely with Central Agencies and other government departments and ministries.
The DDG, System Strategy and Policy is a member of the Ministry's Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and work collectively with the Director-General and your Ministry colleagues to deliver on the Ministry's sector leadership and stewardship roles.
