Come and be part of the Risk and Assurance team at the Ministry of Health!
We are looking for 2 Risk and Assurance Senior Advisors who can help our team facilitate key risk workshops, perform assurance work in key areas and projects with the ultimate aim of being an internal trusted adviser, working in partnership with the business units on risk and assurance related issues.
You'll be involved in providing advice and support to some exciting and innovative projects, initiatives and work streams to deliver the Ministry of Health's Work Programme towards achieving the Government Priorities for the development Health and Disability Sector and to improve health outcomes for New Zealanders.
To be successful, you'll have practical experience of good practice risk management and assurance methodologies ideally from a big 4 background, and be no stranger to producing insightful and engaging risk workshop documentation and assurance reports. You'll be analytical and tenacious and can quickly understand a risk or control issue and make pertinent observations.
In addition, you'll have a positive and can-do attitude with the confidence to facilitate risk management workshops, and excellent relationship management skills that enable you to establish good rapport.
