A bit about us…
The Ministry of Health is the Government's principal advisor on health and disability policy. Our job is to protect the health of New Zealanders and, through leadership of the health and disability system, we help New Zealanders to live well, stay well and get well. We work with the health and disability sector to manage a programme of work that supports the Government's priorities.

Together, we're focused on providing quality operational and strategic HR support, systems, and advice to enable and empower our people leaders to drive transformational outcomes across the NZ health and disability sector.
We're looking for a Principal Technical Specialist to join our team! As well as being an established and experienced generalist, you will also have proven experience in providing technical support in the resolution of complex employment relationship issues.
Your sound understanding of HR practices and employment legislation will see you quickly excel in this role, as will your ability to quickly establish, build and maintain strong working relationships and connections between ideas, people and work.
A bit about you…
You'll be pragmatic and have a natural flair for framing up advice and solutions in a customer-centric way. You're collaborative, energetic, and unflappable under pressure. You're a team player who will impress with your can-do attitude and dedication to providing a high level of customer service.
