People want responsive, high quality and innovative ways to find health information and advice to help them best manage their health care needs. Since 2015 the national Telehealth service has provided the public with access to comprehensive health advice, support and information across New Zealand.
In this senior relationship and partnership role you will be responsible for championing and overseeing the development opportunities for this significant, innovative national service. This will include providing leadership to strengthen the integration of the service for example responding to unplanned care in primary and community settings as well as ensuring the service delivers on agreed outcomes.
This senior role reporting to the Group Manager, Health System Improvement and based in Wellington does not have any direct reports but will, in partnership with the provider, be able to bring virtual teams together across the ministry, other agencies and other providers to achieve results.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a talented relationship manager with a natural ability to partner with others, have experience in a health related customer service environment and high energy for achieving results.
You will be rewarded by being a key part in a dynamic health system innovation and being a member of a senior health team in the Ministry of Health.
