We have a management position in National Collections and Reporting that leads an analytical team focused on meeting the needs of customers to deliver data, information and analytics-related priorities. This position will influence and inform decision-making that impacts health outcomes through the provision of health information and analysis to decision-makers.
Getting the best insights from data and information is an ever increasing priority within the health sector and across government. There is a strong focus on the quality and accessibility of information. You will develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of the customer through testing new methods and processes. You will provide thought leadership and expertise to analysts in National Collections and Reporting in requirements gathering, solutions design, data transformation and analysis.
Day-to-day work will be a mix of strategic planning, hands-on technical work and mentoring/oversight of analysts involved in specific advisory and information dissemination activities. You will use a range of frameworks, tools and approaches to ensure the Ministry is delivering on its strategic priorities.

Reporting to the Group Manager National Collections and Reporting you will need to demonstrate:
Experience in leading and managing analysts
Experience in working with data, including data management, analysis, interpretation, privacy, confidentiality and information security; and with analytical tools
Strong customer focus and the ability to influence others to deliver on a programme of work that meets customer needs
Strategic and operational planning skills and a proven ability to successfully implement plans
Enthusiasm for change; able to implement change to workplace practices in response to the changing needs of the data management and supply environment
Interpersonal and relationship management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
