Do you want to make a difference by contributing to and supporting the improvement of Māori health?
We are looking for a Senior Advisor /Kaiārahi Matua to join our team to support the implementation of a range of Māori health improvement programmes.
This is a diverse and interesting role where you will directly contribute to developing the capacity and capability of Māori health providers, developing the Māori health workforce, and developing innovative approaches to Māori health delivery; and through working with teams across the Ministry to address health inequities for Māori.
Working closely with the team, you will be well supported to grow and develop your skills, knowledge and experience in a range of areas.
To be successful in this role you ideally will have:
- Experience working in a Māori cultural context and have an understanding of Te Reo Māori
An understanding of the health sector
Proven experience with research and analysis skills
The ability to clearly and succinctly write tailored advice to a range of audiences
Ability to work across teams and with a variety of stakeholders
