Across all our work striving to deliver equitable health outcomes for Māori is a must.
To be considered you ideally bring the following:
A track record in delivering strong, fit for purpose policy advice
Experience with evaluative thinking and evidence-based policy analysis and advice
Strong understanding and experience across a range of public policy initiatives
An understanding of the role of government, regulators and the policy process
Experience working across government agencies
Strong stakeholder relationship building, influencing and engagement skills to gain the cooperation and commitment of others both internal and external
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present clear robust advice and information in a plain English format that engages a wide range of audiences
The ability to cut through ambiguity and find appropriate policy solutions
Some experience in providing mentoring, peer review and guidance to others in the team.
