We are looking for a motivated Analyst to join our team of technical specialists, in delivering health services in to New Zealand.
This role offers you challenging and interesting opportunities to demonstrate your analytical and modelling skills and to develop further your health sector knowledge. You will complement the competencies and skills of a team of multi-disciplinary technical specialists. This involves providing input into key project(s) that work across the Ministry and the wider Health Sector.
As our Analyst, you will work as part of the professional, committed and busy team to undertake evidence based analysis across a number of areas. You will bring in expert knowledge in using a range of approaches to deliver a high quality and timely service to a variety of stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in successfully providing input into a technical project
Proven experience in utilising analytical tools such as SAS, SQL and/or R coding
Proven experience in analysing a large amount of data.
Proven experience in presenting complex information to suit a variety of audiences (technical and non-technical)
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to develop strong professional relationships with different professional and technical disciplines
