Senior Project Manager
As either an existing Senior Project Manager or as an experienced and successful Project Manager, you're probably looking for the opportunity to put the full depth and breadth of your skills and experience to use to help deliver a Portfolio of Projects in a complex and rapidly changing and challenging ICT environment. If so, this is your chance to work in an environment where the purpose is to make meaningful and significant change to the health of New Zealanders.
The Senior Project Manager provides project management capability across our Ministry ICT infrastructure Services to ensure appropriate support is provided to our Ministry's systems. At some stage we all touch the health and disability system here in New Zealand, whether it be the doctor, dentist or physio visit or A&E after a sporting mishap, and in joining the Ministry you will be furthering our work programs to deliver even more improved services across the health sector.
We're looking for someone like you who can get involved and deliver on our varied change and critical operational programme while also sharing responsibility to enhance and grow our project delivery capability. Your working knowledge and application of Project Management Methodology will give you a quick start.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Substantial depth and breadth of experience as a practicing Project Manager
- Demonstrated a significantly high level of knowledge and skill in all aspects related to the delivery of project management outcomes
- Evidence of leading large and complex ICT infrastructure portfolio of work
- Experience in leading high performing technical project teams, including managing conflict and demonstrates ability to motivate and coach staff.
- Excellent relationship management skills across a wide range of stakeholders
Your proven experience in the delivery of project management outcomes in a complex ICT environment will underpin your success in this role.
