The Senior Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of service improvement activities and projects, supporting the contract managers by taking the lead on service issues including planning and development of DHB and Non-Government Organisation services provision.
This position sits within the Health System Improvement and Innovation Directorate which supports and promotes innovation and continuous system improvement through quality commissioning and policy, effective regulation and evidence-based decision making.
The role of Senior Portfolio Manager is an existing role that is responsible for:
- Ambulance service issues and improvement projects, local and national
- Support for contract managers to improve provider performance management
- New service model design and implementation
- Use of data to manage contract compliance and future service planning
- Relationships building with stakeholders and service providers.
To be successful, we are looking for your skills in service improvement and excellent network and relationship management skills. It is essential that you have experience in the Health sector.
