Based in Wellington CBD
About this opportunity:
We have two exciting opportunities to help provide insights and add value within the Ministry of Health making a significant contribution to the health of New Zealanders.
We are seeking two senior analysts to join the Ministry's Strategic Investment Planning team to provide analytical support and cost modelling expertise for various Ministry programmes and the Government's annual Budget process.
The Strategic Investment Planning team is part of the Finance business unit which has primary responsibility for supporting the Ministry's strategy by enabling effective resource allocation and prioritisation. It is also responsible for managing and delivering the Ministry's finance functions and payments to the health and disability sector.
What we are looking for:
Your expert financial analysis and modelling skills will be critical in supporting other business units within the Ministry in developing sustainable funding strategies, business cases, and in support of contract negotiations. You will have proven experience and success in developing financial models that integrate financial and non-financial information and to communicate your findings clearly, concisely and in plain language. You will be a strong communicator, and have the ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks within the organisation.
