This Advisor role is an exciting position that will give you the opportunity to join a newly established centralised OIA services team within Government Services.
This team has been created to establish a dedicated and specialised unit to respond to the OIA requests on behalf of the Ministry.
As part of this team you will be responsible for the working within a centralised OIA management model to ensure accountability for meeting statutory obligations. The successful candidates will demonstrate a strong knowledge base of the OIA Act and process and have strong relationship management skills.
The aim of our team is enhancing the delivery of our services through consistently driving and demonstrating the Spirit of Service in process improvement, productivity enhancement, internal and external customer service. The team sits within the wider business unit of the Office of the Director General.
The Office of the Director General provides support for the Director General of Health and has responsibility for the effective and efficient management of communications and government services.
As a member of the Office of the Director General Team you will have the opportunity to influence process design, contribute to continuous improvement, and to contribute to the training and development of staff from across the Ministry.
