The System Strategy and Policy directorate works closely with Ministers and Cabinet to provide high quality health advice to inform the decisions they make on behalf of the Government.
The role of Manager Therapeutics is a new fixed term role providing leadership and clear direction to ensure effective delivery of the Therapeutic Products work programme. This is a substantial piece of legislative reform and includes setting policy direction, overseeing complex legislative drafting and shepherding through leglative processes as well as consultation and engagement with the sector and key stakeholders and development of a new regulator.
You will bring significant experience in developing managing and leading design delivery and governance of regulatory systems from both a policy and delivery perspective. You'll be a specialist in regualtory policy with success in transitioning programmes of work from policy to implementation – you know what good regulation looks like.
You will have demonstrated success in leading and driving legislative programmes of work and have an understanding of core enablers within the broader health system. You understand the machinery of government and know how to get things done.
