The DHB Performance, Support and Infrastructure directorate ensure strong effective relationships and provide leadership and support to ensure DHBs deliver on and are accountable for their operational, capital and financial performance. We also deliver major health infrastructure projects for the Crown; process payments and administer contracts for health care services.
We're looking for people who have:
- a tertiary qualification or experience in a relevant field
- strong inter-personal and relationship management skills
- research and analysis skills, including familiarity with Excel tools
- proven ability to analyse and interpret complex issues and information
The focus of the DHB Funding analytical roles is to support the model for the distribution of funding across the health sector, national costing and pricing and the provision of expert advice on DHB Funding.
As our Analyst/Senior Analyst you will contribute to a busy team by providing high quality leadership, analysis and advice across a number of areas within DHB Funding. You will maintain sector relationships while ensuring timely delivery of products to our internal and external stakeholders. DHB Funding covers the breadth of the health system and as such the information base is vast, so an appetite for learning is essential.
As an Analyst, we're looking for someone who is competent in analysing complex information and able to identify trends and patterns in the data to contribute to technical projects. As a Senior Analyst, you'll be experienced in leading or playing a key role in technical projects and have demonstrated experience in analysing and presenting information to a variety of audiences.
Regardless, you'll have a collaborative approach to work with excellent communication and organisational skills.
