The System Strategy and Policy directorate works closely with Ministers and Cabinet to provide high quality health advice to inform the decisions they make on behalf of the Government.
The Executive Assistants in our Directorate deliver high quality and timely support for the Group Manager / Director / Manager /Chief they support whilst actively collaborating and engaging with colleagues both internally and externally.
In this diverse role you will provide executive assistant services to senior leaders that span inbox, diary and meeting coordination, productions of reports and/or presentations, contribute to project work, manage finance/invoice processing, travel, and more. Join the ministry and be the ‘go to person' for our managers, working in an area that truly makes a difference for New Zealanders.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate your capability in managing priorities and identifying risks for the people you support. You'll be confident and have the ability to work in a complex and changing environment. Establishing relationships and maintaining them in order to achieve desired outcomes is critical to your success. You'll also be creative in terms of problem solving and contributing to process improvement and implementation.
