The Data and Digital directorate is responsible for ensuring that the Ministry's data collections and digital technology support the health system to deliver better services and health outcomes. The directorate also has oversight of current data and digital functions We also deliver major health infrastructure projects for the Crown; process payments and administer contracts for health care services.
We have an exciting opportunity for a fixed-term Payments Officer within the Sector Operations Group of the Directorate. You will support the team to become a Centre of Excellence through a programme of continuous business improvement. If you enjoy working with motivated, fun-loving, goal-oriented achievers, in a flexible working arrangement, Sector Operations friendly environment offers a great place to work.
You will be responsible for managing the receipt, data collection and processing of claimant payments, and to manage the eligibility and documentation associated with these payments. In addition, you will provide support and advice to claimants and the Sector with queries and requests relating to their payments.
To be successful, you will need:
- Fast and accurate keyboard skills
- An eye for detail and a results focus
- A knack to pick up new systems quickly
- Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to change and new challenges.
As well as previous experience with:
- Processing of payments and data entry
- Problem solving and resolution
- Collaborating with others to achieve goals and performance targets.
