Provides advice and support to the Health System Improvement and Innovation Directorate in support of the Deputy Director-General.

The Health System Improvement and Innovation Directorate promotes innovation and continuous system improvement through quality commissioning and policy advice, effective regulation and evidence-based decision making. The Office of the Deputy Director-General is the executive function of the directorate where a good understanding of the health and disability system and machinery of Government is required.
Te whainga poto o tēnei tūranga – What is the purpose of this position?:
The Assistant Advisor, Office of the Deputy Director-General, HSII supports the development and delivery of quality advice and support for the Directorate. This involves providing coordination, analysis, and championing the consistent application of relevant framework's and processes across the directorate.

To be successful in this role you will have a can-do attitude, be a good problem solver, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst also demonstrating critical thinking and sound judgement. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
This role is a band 13G which has a salary range of $ 51,446 - $68,595. Offered salary will be based on candidates' skills and experience.
