We are looking for an Advisor to come on board within the Government Services and Coordination team in the Office of the Director-General.
The Office of the Director General leads and supports organisational excellence by providing timely, high-quality advice, communications, and governance support to Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and services to support ministers.
The role of Advisor, Government Services and Coordination provides advice to support, maintain and improve the delivery of a high quality work to the ELT and Ministers.
To be successful in the role you will:
- Contribute to the delivery of key pieces of work with the oversight and support of Senior Advisors.
- Build collaborative and positive relationships with team members and other Ministry staff, including ability to engage with more senior levels when required.
- Provide accurate, timely and high quality advice in relation to Select Committee work and Parliamentary question responses.
- Ensure all work reflects our responsibilities to the priority of equity and meeting Treaty obligations.
You will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience, good organisational and time management skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills. You will bring a can-do attitude, an attention to detail, and an ability to work to deadline.

This role has has a salary range of $64,077 – 85,437. Offered salary will be based on candidates skills and experience.
