Do you want to be part of high performing team that works on leading health policy? Our System Enablers team is looking for a Senior Policy Analyst to support their ever-evolving work on high impact issues in the health system such as COVID-19 vaccines, and the Pharmac Review. If these sound like exciting policy areas, we want to hear from you!
You'll bring a thorough understanding of public policy issues, including Te Tiriti and Equity requirements. You can assimilate new information and apply policy frameworks to work in tight timeframes.
As a highly collaborative policy professional who can see the benefits of strong policy advice using data analysis and research to evidence advice, you bring with you a strong ability to take complex information and make it relevant across a range of audiences.
You can demonstrate a strong understanding of how legislative and regulatory instruments can be applied to deliver better economic and social outcomes and improve health outcomes.
Your advice is understood by a range of audiences, breaking complex problems into achievable equitable solutions. You will take ownership and action on challenges, working collaboratively with others. You are all adding value to the team, to deliver high quality policy to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for New Zealanders.
At a Senior level, you will be able to demonstrate your comfort in sharing your knowledge and mentoring analysts to grow their policy skills. You are open to learning from others, seeking opportunities through your work to further grow both your written and analytical skillsets, whilst demonstrating core leadership skills when leading of pieces of work.
We want to hear from applicants that are:

This position has a salary range of $100,564 - $134,085. The offered salary will be based on skills and experience.
