We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Advisor, Programme Management to join our team and support the delivery of key initiatives within the Polynesian Health Corridors programme. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful work that supports health systems and partnerships across the Pacific.
As an Advisor, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Programme Lead and wider team to deliver on programme objectives. You'll help coordinate governance processes, manage communications and reporting, and ensure the smooth flow of information across stakeholders. You'll also lead responses to Official Information Act (OIA) requests and contribute to ministerial briefings and reporting.
Your work will directly support the delivery of health outcomes in Polynesian countries through strong programme management and stakeholder engagement.
Ko tōu ake mahi - What you'll do
- Support programme governance and engagement processes, including preparing presentations, agendas, and notes.
- Implement stakeholder engagement and communications plans.
- Collate and maintain programme data and reporting, including ministerial and milestone reporting.
- Lead the Polynesian Health Corridors response to OIA inquiries.
- Coordinate input into briefings, weekly reports, and Ministerial servicing.
- Deliver high-quality work to agreed timeframes and standards.
- Role model the Ministry's values and contribute to a positive team culture.

- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience providing advice and applying critical thinking.
- Familiarity with government processes, including OIA and Ministerial servicing (desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong relationship-building skills and experience working with diverse stakeholders.
